MCCI today announced that the MCCI Research Forum will be held in Tyndall National Institute, Cork on October 18th 2011. The theme will be “Delivering Value to the Irish Economy from Microelectronics Research”. Sean Sherlock, TD, Minister of State, Department of Enterprise, Jobs & Innovation and Department of Education & Skills with responsibility for Research & Innovation will open the forum. The keynote speech will be given by David Robertson, Vice President of Analog Technology, Analog Devices. The forum will showcase current MCCI research projects and a panel discussion will provide an opportunity for attendees to join the debate on how to maximise commercialisation of this research.
