Hugo is a Principal Investigator in the Integrated Power Systems group of Tyndall MCCI working on Ultra-Low Power PMIC for IoT. He joined MCCI in 2024. Hugo received the engineering degree (undergraduate) in Electronics and Control from National Polytechnic School of Ecuador in 2007, and completed his PhD at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, in 2017. He joined Richteck (now part of Mediatek) technologies in 2017, where he worked on DC-DC converters. In 2021 he worked on milimeter wave transceivers and power supplies for TereSilIC, Taiwan. From 2021 to 2023 he was a senior analogue IC designer woking on power supplies as well as SERDES interfaces for LCD panel display drivers at Himax, Taiwan. He is a Senior IEEE Member since 2024.
